Abstract

The present work brings an extract of the results of an Extension Curricular Activity, which took place between March and May 2023 with secondary/technical school teachers from the Graciliano Ramos State School, located in the municipality of Palmeira dos Índios, in the State of Alagoas.

The psychosocial intervention was methodologically based on action research, which developed into a discursive and information-sharing system on the theoretical apparatuses of the intersectionality theme.

 Through group meetings with audiovisual exhibitions and collective textual constructions, the proposal was to work on the theme and highlight the importance of this analytical tool for recognizing the different forms of precepts that exist in the school environment, in addition to providing reflective moments.

To this end, this text describes the steps taken during the execution of the proposal and also the results obtained with the intervention.

In this section, data showed how the target audience saw and understood the theme and the changes presented after the intervention.

It was also observed the importance of dialogue between university and community for the construction of new analytical devices on systems of power and exclusion, even reproduced in school environments.
