This work studies the performativity of the preamble of the United Nations Charter within the perspective of enunciation from John Austin, Oswald Ducrot and Eduardo Guimarães. We investigate how meanings are constituted, observing concepts of temporality and the enunciative scene in the performativity of the text, both explored by Guimarães, in the political-enunciative space, as well as the way in which the purposes of the text are signified and formulated. We found that the performativity of the preamble is not unique, and it is sustained by coordinated enunciation that, like the enunciative scene, can be constituted of social places of different subjects.
