Abstract

O Sítio Toca dos Oitenta, localizado no Parque Nacional Serra da Capivara possui datações entre 5.890 e 5.650, e 7.840 e 7.600 obtidas através das amostras de carvões presentes na mesma camada estratigráfica onde foram identificados grafismos rupestres gravados, sendo uma das datações mais antigas para esse tipo de vestígio na região Nordeste do Brasil. O objetivo dessa pesquisa foi a realização do levantamento bibliográfico e a identificação da técnica de confecção das gravuras rupestres.
