Abstract

Na Área Arqueológica do Seridó foram evidenciados sítios rupestres com presença de sobreposições pictóricas, que comportam distinções gráficas em relação às técnicas, às propriedades formais e à distribuição espacial desses vestígios. Essas sobreposições podem ser consideradas indicadores de levas ocupacionais ou diferenças funcionais dentro da mesma sociedade.
