Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- Authors should remove any references that could enable their identification, including personal names, institutional affiliations, or indirect information that reveals authorship.
- The contribution is original and unpublished, and is not being evaluated for publication by another journal; otherwise, justification must be provided in “Comments to the editor.”
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, or RTF format.
- The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in the Guidelines for Authors, on the About the Journal page.
- All authors correctly reported their ORCID identifiers.
- All authors correctly reported their institutional affiliations.
- All authors correctly submitted their Mini Biographies (maximum 100 words, in the language of the article).
- Authors must attach a statement of originality, confirming that the material has not been published or is not under review by another journal.

Caeté Magazine adopts the CC BY 4.0 License, whereby licensees have the right to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work and make derivative works from it, provided that the author or licensor is given proper credit.
It considers that the author holds the copyright to their work, but the author must agree to grant the magazine the right to first publication. In addition, the author must agree that:
In any publications in institutional repositories, book chapters, or other works resulting from works published in Caeté Magazine, proper credit must be given to the initial publication.
Authors are authorized to publish and distribute their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their personal website) at any time before or during the editorial process, as this may generate productive changes and increase the impact and citation of the work published by the journal.
