Ondas de calor e estresse térmico humano severo na Região Norte do Brasil: comparação entre diferentes bases de dados e sob perspectiva socioespacial

Ondas de calor constituem um risco crescente à saúde humana em regiões tropicais úmidas, onde a combinação de temperatura elevada, umidade e desigualdade socioespacial intensifica o estresse térmico. Este estudo avaliou o impacto das ondas de calor sobre o conforto térmico humano na Região Norte do Brasil, integrando dados de temperatura máxima diária do INMET, do ERA5-Land e do UTCI/ERA5-HEAT. Foram analisadas 23 estações no período de 1995 a 2025 para INMET e ERA5-Land e entre 2010 e 2025 para o UTCI (ERA5-HEAT). Ondas de calor foram definidas pelo percentil 90 diário e pela duração mínima de três dias consecutivos. O impacto foi avaliado por meio do UTCImax, do número de dias com UTCI ≥ 38 °C, da excedência em relação ao P90 local, da carga térmica acumulada e do índice de prioridade socioespacial. Os resultados indicam que as ondas de calor aumentam o UTCImax e a probabilidade de ocorrência de calor muito forte em todas as classes de vulnerabilidade. As cidades de Peixe, Taguatinga, Conceição do Araguaia, Lábrea, Manaus e Monte Alegre apresentaram prioridade muito alta, sugerindo que o risco térmico resulta da interação entre exposição, severidade dos eventos e vulnerabilidade.
